Description:
The Postnova CF2000 is a highly developed centrifugal field-flow fractionation (FFF) system for gentle and efficient separation of particles, colloids and nano objects in the size range from 5 nm to over 100 μm. Unlike classical centrifugation or chromatography, CF2000 technology uses a rotating field in a flat channel structure for field-based fractionation - without any stationary phase.
The system is offered here together with the modules PN7140 (UV/Vis detector), PN7520 (differential pressure sensor / flow control) and PN1130 (automatic injector / autosampler). In this configuration, the system is ideally suited for the analysis of pigments, polymer dispersions, biological nanoparticles, protein complexes, liposomes, vaccines and many other colloidal or particle-shaped samples.
The field-based separation enables very gentle analysis of sensitive samples - ideal for research and quality control laboratories with highest demands on accuracy and reproducibility.
