The Olympus UHI-3 is a high-flow insufflator with a built-in smoke evacuation system ensuring good visibility during surgery.
Abdominal pressure can be adjusted in 1 mm Hg increments within a range of 3 – 25 mm Hg
When the pressure in the abdominal cavity becomes too high, a warning light and alarm are activated and the pinch valve on the suction tube opens automatically to release excess pressure
Quick response to gas leaks helps return pressure to programmed levels
Possibility of connection to the hospital's central gas supply system

It has 3 main flow settings:
Low: 0.1 – 1.0 L/min,
Medium: 1.1 – 19 L/min,
High: 20 – 35 L/min.
Possibility of gradual flow adjustment in 0.1 L/min steps within the range of 0.1 – 2.0 L/min, which allows careful control of gas supply
Noise is kept low thanks to the solenoid valve opening and closing mechanism
Large display on the front panel makes it easy to monitor pressure
