Product Description

The system includes:. HP EI/CI 5973 MSD with turbo pump G1099A. HP 6890 Plus GC. 7683A 100-position carrier liquid autosampler. Rough vacuum pump. PC with ChemStation. The HP 5973 MSD is a standalone capillary GC detector. The HP 5973 Mass Selective Detector (MSD) is designed for use with the HP 6890 Series Gas Chromatograph. Features of the HP 5973 MSD:. Mass range – between 1.6 and 800 amu in 0.1 amu increments. Scan speed – maximum 5200 amu/second at a resolution of 0.1 amu. Sensitivity - Typical performance for 1 pg of octafluoronaphthalene results in a signal-to-noise ratio of better than 20:1 in the scan mass range 50-300 amu. SIM mode – monitors up to 30 masses simultaneously. Up to 50 groups of 30 masses each. The HP 6890 Plus GC is designed to replace its older version HP 5890 GC. The HP 6890 Series gas chromatography system delivers high levels of performance. The HP 6890 Series GC features electronic pneumatic control for all gas pressures and flows. Integrated sensors automatically compensate for changes in room temperature and barometric pressure differences, routinely achieving more accurate and reproducible results. By providing stable results, EPC reduces the frequency of recalibrations, thereby improving laboratory productivity. The HP 6890 Plus GC is considered one of today's best gas chromatography systems, delivering outstanding performance for many applications. The comprehensive thermal performance of the HP 6890 GC enables optimal chromatography including retention time repeatability, peak symmetry and retention index accuracy, while enabling fast GC results. The precise temperature together with the precise pneumatic control results in outstanding repeatability of the retention time, the basis for all chromatographic measurements. Capabilities of the HP 6890 Plus GC:. Dual channel design supports two inlets and two detectors. Full digital data output enables quantification of the smallest and largest peaks in a single run. Full EPC is available for all inlets and detectors. Control range and resolution are optimized for the specific inlet or detector module. EPC with capillary columns provides four column flow control modes: constant pressure, increasing pressure (3 ramps), constant flow, or increasing flow (3 ramps). The average linear column velocity is calculated. Compensation for air pressure and temperature is standard, so results do not change even if the laboratory environment changes. The automatic liquid sampler is fully integrated into the main control. Setpoint and automation control can be done from the local keyboard or via a networked data system. Time programming can be initiated from the control panel to trigger events (on/off, method start, etc.) at a future date and time. A runtime deviation log is created for each analysis to ensure that all method parameters have been achieved and maintained. Display of all GC and ALS setpoints on the GC or data system. The HP 6890 Plus GC is a state-of-the-art gas chromatograph that offers superior performance for all applications. Key applications of the HP 6890 Plus GC include:. Biodiesel. Chemical Analysis. Drug screening. Environment. Food safety. Hydrocarbon processing. Prosecution. Pesticide determination. Research laboratories. Toxicology. The HP 7683 Automatic Liquid Sampler System may include:. An HP G2612A ALS interface card (HP 6890 GC only). One or two HP G2613A injector modules. HP G2614A 100-sample carrier (optional, HP 6890 GC). HP G1926A Barcode Reader (optional, HP 6890 GC - requires INET integrator or HP ChemStation). The HP 7683 Sampler takes a sample from a 2 mL or 100 µL vial and injects it into the gas chromatograph (GC) inlet at a predetermined time. You can use up to 8 sample vials with the turret alone, or up to 100 sample vials with the optional HP G2614A tray and standard turret. In addition, the HP 7683 Sampler can:. Perform solvent pre- and post-rinses. Wash samples before injection. Carry out test pumping. Increase sampling time for viscous samples. Inject different amounts of sample from different sample vials. Pause a running sequence to process priority samples and then resume the sequence. Perform cool on-column injections in 250 µm, 320 µm and 530 µm columns. Includes Edwards Turbomolecular Pump HP G1946-80001, code B740-04-000. This refurbished HP 5973 Mass Selective Detector MSD G1999A (S/N US91430451) with HP 6890 Plus GC and HP 7683 Automatic Liquid Sampler is in great condition. Labprocure is responsible for this device.
