Description:
The CN Bio PhysioMimix OOC (Organ-on-a-Chip) is an innovative microphysiological system for the simulation of human organ functions at the cellular level. It enables the simultaneous cultivation and analysis of multiple organs or tissue types in a dynamically networked environment - ideal for preclinical research, drug development, toxicology testing and personalized medicine.
The multi-organ system simulates realistic physiological conditions and enables the investigation of organ-organ interactions, metabolism, pharmacokinetics and long-term effects on human cells. Thanks to the precisely controllable microenvironment and integrated fluid circulation, human reactions to substances can be reproduced much better than with traditional in vitro models.
The platform is modular, fully automatable and compatible with 96-well-based assays and standard laboratory environments. The user-friendly software package enables real-time monitoring, logging and analysis of all running experiments.
