The comprehensive, all-in-one solution offers complete control over the water treatment process and the quality of the resulting water, a space-saving installation, and the avoidance of disadvantages that centralized water systems can bring. Milli-Q® water is characterized by its extraordinary purity. It is based on an optimized treatment sequence that produces Elix® pure water from tap water, which is taken from the E-POD®. It combines the patented Elix® module with pretreatment by Progard®, reverse osmosis and UV light for disinfection. The system offers different production rates and the water is stored in a polyethylene tank. It is then either distributed as pure water or processed into the purest water by the Milli-Q® Integral system. The Milli-Q® water passes through a dual-frequency UV lamp and a Quantum® high purification column to be finally purified on the Q-POD®. All reprocessing cartridges use Jetpore® ion exchange resin and are equipped with RFID technology for easy control and traceability. The Q-POD® and E-POD® removal units enable easy operation and display important information in a compact design. They support ease of use, save space and provide tailored water quality for specific experiments.
